Summer Grilling Safety Tips
Summer is almost here – after all, Memorial day is just around the corner – which means a lot of people are going to start doing their cooking outside on the grill. Whether it’s a cookout with friends and family, or just using the grill instead of the stove, there will be more and more people firing up the barbeque over the next few months.
However, it’s important to remember that grills can be dangerous. In fact, 27% of home structure fires involving grills started on a courtyard, terrace or patio, and 29% started on an exterior balcony or open porch, according to the National Fire Protection Association.
